Just Bought A GLLETTE SLIM ADJUSTABLE

Hi guys just bought a GILLETTE SLIM ADJUSTABLE RAZOR with a M-1 code on it in very nice condition. My question for you is M-1 code what year would that be and what kind of blades would be recommended currently I use Feather,Dorco and Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Platinum on all my others razors

If I'm reading it right M is 67 and 1 is first quarter of the year.

I believe it to be 1rst quarter of 1967.As far as blade Ive been lucky with Blue blade whenever I DE shave.I str8 mostly.

I'm seriously thinking of going on search for a L-1 which would be my birth year and quarter of birth. I have a Slim and love it. It has den superiority right now.

I hear you on this. I can't explain why but the between a fatboy and a slim, I feel like I'm making the wrong choice when I use the fat boy. I get a great shave with both, I can't tell the difference becuase they both perform the same. It's almost like the slim is a really sexy lady eyeing me while I'm on a date with a sexy lady. In the back of my head I'm questioning if I'm making the right choice.

Great Gillette and a great choice. I think all of those blades are good - my top choice would be Feather. I would say the first pass at set the razor to 3, the second pass at 5.

Once again the dead pirate is dead right. This is the exact routine I use with my Slim and going on 3 for the first and 5 for the rest is the magic formula with a Slim IMO. Right now I have an Astra SP in it and will try a Feather next.
