Just bought a brass brush!

I know that I said that I would hold off for a while but I went to the antique store to find Valet Auto Strop blades and you know the rest. I found a really neat shave soap container and it has a nice brush rest on the lid. I also found a solid brass shaving brush. I've never seen that Ingersoll Dollar stropping outfit before it is supposed to strop Gillette DE blades and Gem SE blades and it has never been used, it looks like pig skin with all of those pores. Did Gem make a Gem Jr. with Treet stamped on the back? Finally, I found a NOS box of valet blades and a NOS box of blades for my 4 Durham Duplex's. Not too bad of a haul!

Thats a very interesting brush. Nice find(s). I never see anything cool at antique stores

What a great brush! I wonder if anyone could be persuaded to turn a few like that to sell - I imagine others would love to own a brass brush, too.
