What's new

Julie Andrews.what did she know?

"Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things!

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things!"

Hardly Julie, not even close. Among good liquor, a nicely balanced putter, finely crafted firearms, quality BBQ, and a well-tuned motorcycle, THESE are some of MY favorite things.

Dovo 6/8 Palisander (fantastic service and sick edge by Superior Shave)

Omega 11126-boar
Vulfix 2235-Super badger
Omega 346235-Synthetic
...assorted soaps and creams that I think are pretty decent:

Pictured:
Razorock XXX
C&E Sandalwood

But lest we forget:
La Toja Manantiales
TOBS Sandalwood
Cella
Arko Cream (stick is OK also)
Bigelow
C&E Nomad
Proraso Sandalwood
Speick (I gotta get some more of that)

I waiting on the same Dovo Bismarck from Superior Shave + 3" Walking Horse strop! Hopefully the razor will go up there with wet shaving & my other favs - a good quality time piece (Swiss or German), an ice cold Bavarian pilsner, a catchy disco bass line... Oh, and Manchester United!

I remember walking past a theatre in Cheltenham one evening when there was a Singalonga Sound of Music on. There were all these people in odd outfits from the film/show. I lost count of the bearded nuns and people wrapped in brown paper and tied up with string!

What really worried me were three blokes in German SS uniforms that seemed to be far to well fitted to have come from a fancy dress shop...
