JOSMON Razor

I just got this razor from a friend in Spain, I can't find much info on it, but I was told it is a JOSe MONserrat Pou early razor.

The razor is a full 8/8 and might be a tad more, bakelite scales, overall in pretty good condition. It is making its way to me as I type.

Does any one have any more information on this razor?

So I have heard, go wait by the mailbox, it is on its way-LOL

It wasn't there tonight, I'll check again tomorrow. And let you know.

so... Who's going in on the pool of how fast the scales last before they're swapped out with... black horn, with a MOP Filarmonica lyre inlaid.... And a mirror finish on the blade.

Another Filly copy, I hear Seraphim ordered a load from his GD makers and has been artificially ageing them.

Nice find though, you Hispanics should start spreading the wealth to the rest of the world.

This one might actually have come before the Filis, so in essence the Filis are copies of this one.

Luck? I know someone who scored a few Mks.............

Nice razor!! I didn't realize Jose Monserrat Pou did anything before Filarmonica, so this is very cool!!
Thank you,

Might have been early into his Filarmonica stent, not sure.

I know the razor is old as its not stamped made in Spain on the reverse side of the tang, this started in the early 70's I believe. The shape of the JOSMON in a semi circular fashion is also "old style". The pins and scales are also old. The scales are Bakelite (not sure when they stopped using those), the pins are brass and without washers.
