Joseph Rogers in Snake wood

This one belongs to one of our members
~7/8 faux frameback, it came with a set of fancy scales that were busted at the pivot pin. So I decided to see how a set of snake wood scales wil lwork on that blade, I like the result .
Scales were sanded to 400 sand paper then coated with wipe on poly, I pinned with brass pins and washers.

Beautiful work - I like that wood very much - is the wedge in acrylic ? it almost looks translucent.

Yes please! I have a 5/8" semi wedge that needs scales.. where can I send it? Seriously wonderful looking razor.
