You don't get to know what it is, you don't get to ask any details. To qualify, you have to post in this thread with something of interest, be it a cure for stupidity or the worlds greatest cocktail recipe. There will be no "Random.org" stuff here, this is my PIF, I'm picking the winner according to content. It will end... eventually. The PIF will be in direct correllation to the awesomeness of the post. FYI, I've acquired some really sweet stuff in my 3000 posts here. It will be shaving related. Have fun!
P.S. PM'ng me for details automatically disqualifies you from the PIF!

For my birthday the other day my wife made me some red velvet brownies. Just figured I'd share (the image, not the actual brownies. They are long gone).

You want bacon? Here's a recipe for an Old Fashioned using bacon-infused bourbon:

Bourbon-Bacon Infusion:
3 or 4 slices bacon, or enough to render 1 ounce of fat
1 750-ml. bottle of bourbon such as Four Roses Yellow Label

Infusion Instructions:

  1. Cook bacon in pan and reserve rendered fat.
  2. When bacon fat has cooled a bit, pour off one ounce from pan.
  3. Pour bourbon into a non-porous container.
  4. Strain the bacon fat into the container and infuse for 4 to 6 hours at room temperature.
  5. Place mixture in freezer until all the fat is solidified. With a slotted spoon, remove fat and strain mixture back into bottle.
Cocktail Ingredients:
2 ounces bacon-infused bourbon
1/4 ounce Grade B maple syrup
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Twist of orange

Mixing Instructions:
In mixing glass, stir 2 ounces bacon-infused bourbon, maple syrup, and bitters with ice. Strain into chilled rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with orange twist.

Bacon wrapped, deep fried, jalapeno poppers. One of the most awesome things I've ever seen with bacon. Except for the bacon bra, but I can't very well post that one. :drool:
