I'm looking for a new pair of jeans, but I'm having some problems. I'm not very tall (5'8"-5'9"), a 30 waist, but my seat is a little...large. It's making it difficult to find a pair of jeans that fit in the waist and the seat, without being too baggy and making me look shorter.

Are there any make of jeans that are slimmer fit (not skinny) like the Levis 514 but with a higher rise waist? $100 and under is my limit.

I was going suggest the 514. They fit me perfect.....don't know what else is out there. Is the 501 too baggy?

No, but the prices are very good. Personally, I use the Levi 501 Shrink to fits. I like the darker colors, the starchy feel...basically I love the raw denim. They also shrink nicely in the thigh and seat. They are the only jeans under $50 that fit me almost perfectly and don't look like something made for children.

You can always try Wrangler, they fit me alot better than Levis

Polo Ralph Lauren Classic 867 jeans are all I wear because I have the same issues you do. $75 per pair. Dark Wash $95.
