Jean Patou Pour Homme was by all means a fine fragrance. A bit formal, and I might have to duck here, but I certainly have worn fragrances that I considered better. In fact I sold my bottle on another site. I thought, and still do think that JHL by Aramis is the finest fragrance ever created for a man. I also think that Heritage EDP.... Derby (vintage), and several others will stand shoulder to shoulder with Patou pour Homme...IMHO
Dior Leather Oud coming to my mind right now. Thanks for the heads up on this one Cheeva. I look forward to sampling. I had not tried the vintage. Was just one of those that I let slide by. My bank account wishes I had done the same with a few others along the way...
