Jack Black getting into the DE game

Has anyone tried the cream, there's always a tub in a shop near me but is it worth £20? That's what Castle Forbes costs here.

I have tried the cream and, IMO, it is not the equal of CF if they are in the same price range. The product is an OK performer, but it is a very soft cream. Not nearly as dense as CF or even TOBS, hence, the tube will not last as long as either. I was gifted the product and would not buy it by choice.

These very products are advertised in the latest Nordstrom catalog. The razor looks like it would be comfortable to use.

Muhle charges a fortune for their stylo razor, too, which is the same head on a fancy handle. Jack Black products are not cheap. I'm guessing that some of their customers wouldn't think twice about spending 120 bucks for a razor.

I never would have thought that Jack Black, the actor, would be the purveyor of shaving products.

From the JB shaving website:

Our Story
Back in 2000, Curran Dandurand, her husband Jeff, and Emily Dalton founded Jack Black as a response to a void in the skin care marketplace. At that time few, if any, companies were creating premium quality, high-performance, easy-to-use grooming products for men. The name Jack Black, coined before the popularity of the comic actor, embodied the comfort and approachability of a good friend. And the packaging was designed to appeal to a masculine aesthetic. Jack Black quickly found a home in the most distinguished upscale retailers.

Though, to be fair, by that time Jack Black the actor by that time, according to the interenets, had played small roles in Airborne, Demolition Man, Waterworld, The Fan, The Cable Guy, Mars Attacks!, Tim Robbins' Dead Man Walking, The Jackal, Enemy of the State, and others.

Remember him getting his arm blown off in The Jackal in 1997?

He was also already performing in Tenacious D at this time.

Then, he was in High Fidelity in 2000.

Brush looks nice if wildly overpriced. I don't like the shape of that razor handle at all. But some people pay for a brand, and it is their prerogative to do so.
