Itchy face from a cartridge?

Just had my first shave with my new sensor which I need to use offshore. Normal pre-post routine, MWF, alum, Nivea balm. My skin feels really itchy; could this be something on the lube strip or is it a reaction to the pulling and cutting action of the twin blade? I don't remember having a problem when I used M3; is it possible DE and straights have softened my skin and it needs to toughen up again to get used to the cart?

I'd say keep at it for a few shaves because we can't tell from a distance. The lube strip could've cause an allergic reaction but so could an unusual razor to which your face has yet to be accommodated to.

Could be an off blade--I am sure it happens with cartridges just as it can happen with DE's. I would give it 1, maybe 2 more shaves--if you can get that many out of it--before you move onto another cartridge. If you have the same problem, I would begin leaning towards some sort of allergy.
