Italian for Shave Stick

In Italy now. Have seen Palmolive cream, but would like to ask if they have, or know where I can buy, a shave stick. Is there an Italian speaker out there that can tell me the Italian word or words for shave stick? Also, how about a shave brush?

Hi,

I hope that Marco agrees, but I think the right words are:

Stick da barba and pennello da barba.

Good luck,

Eric

Eric gave you the right translation. Shaving stick may also be described as "sapone da barba in stick". But, Valobra aside, sticks are not easy too find because not that popular.

I take it you have become a fan of the La Toja shave stick. It really is a great shave stick!
I really am enjoying it, thanks again and Ive got a valobra and 2 more boots on its way. I just want the wilkonsword and the new lea then my shave stick madness will be over lol. Ive prolly got 3 years worth of shavesticks and only one la toja so its not used that often.

Success! After stopping in to a barber shop to ask where to find what I was looking for I am now the owner of an Omega Pro 48 boar brush. I wanted something really big to use in my Georgetown shuttle. This is my first boar so I'm excited to get home and try it - maybe with that puck or Arlington I picked up in London. Come to think of it, I guess it's almost a requirement that I use it first on some Cella. Of course it's just possible since I'll be in Bologna for a few more days that I just might stumble upon some SMN.

I just returned from Sicily and had great luck stopping by a parfumerie. Lots of proraso, Vitos, P.160 and marvis. I only wish I had went ahead and bought the big bottles of proraso and floid aftershave.they were 13 euros but cost about $45 to order online here. I was just worried about their breaking in my luggage.

Sorry to go sort of OT, but curious if you can find La Toja Manatiales in Italy, specifically around Florence?
If so, I need to get a friend to pick me some up.

I know it has been discontinued. Thanks!

No, Sir. La Toja is a Spanish brand that is not available in Italy, unfortunately.

Nice grab! I have an Omega Pro 48 that I recently picked up. I been using it some in between my badger brushes and have been very impressed with it, especially given its low price point.
