Israeli Personna wrapper change?

The blade wrapper could have easily changed and is likely. What ebay seller is it? From the sellers name I could tell you if they are trustworthy or not.
Exact same thing happened to me in Crystals. Coincidentally, I just finished my 7th shave with the new blade on the left. 7 is all this blades gets. Yesterday's 6th shave on that blade was one of the best shaves I've ever had.

Hi,
I can only say if you can take a clearer picture of the left that would be great. As of now, on my end there is still stock with the blue packing. I haven't seen this new packing, but I will find out. If they did we will all carry very soon. Enjoy your shaves.
Addition: I can confirm that on my side there will not be a package change for a while. So my advice is: "buyer beware". I would really love to see more details on new packing and blade.

Lets hope this doesn't turn out to be another problem like Derby.
Well, a package that indicates "Super Stainless" for a blade that is platinum coated doesn't bode well at all. Manufacturers would certainly be interested extolling the features of their product. However, if it shaves the same then who am I to argue. I imagine that packaging change may be the result of several situations, including a shift to generic packaging and labeling.

I've bought some Eddison blades labeled like the black ones. Supposedly made in the same factory...

Thanks for the information, though it does make me rather leery. I've taken better quality photos of the packaging I received. Sorry for the awkward photos, I had to use my laptop webcam because my digital camera takes such poor quality photos.
Note that the dispenser and the blue cardboard insert are the same as regular IP's, as well as the blade itself. Only the paper has changed.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that I contacted the ebay seller that I bought these from. He assured me that his blades come straight from the manufacturer and are genuine, and these blades are so new that he had not even seen that the packaging is changed yet either. He subsequently changed the pictures on all of his auctions (he sells thousands of these blades--interesting). He seems truthful enough, judging by the fact that he went and changed the photos on all of his listings.

Not that this will help to clear anything up, but here is a comparison pic of the Super + Platinum and a Eddison.

Maybe they mixed up or ran out of wrappers! It has been some time since I've used either one. As I recall, they seemed to be fairly similar, however, at the time, the Super + Platinum blades just weren't working for me. It is time for a revisit.

I've found that (for me, at least) nothing beats a Crystal in my Slim set to 4.
Running out of wrappers or trying to cut costs could both be possibilities.

I guess that could be a factory mix up on the wrappers. Though the wrapper says something totally different to the blade itself. Israeli Personnas are SUPER + Platinum and the other wrapping says SUPER STAINLESS.
Also in my opinion, the blades that do not have the "Made in Israel" are blades that were removed out of their dispenser and packaged in 10, 20, 50 or 100. As so, this blades are different from the ones I carry. If you see the pictures that TheBigL posted, the left blade does say "Made in Israel"; the only way to get this would be buy buying in bulk 100 or 50pcs from the same bulk.

I didn't even notice the "made in Israel" was missing! Hmm
I suppose that as long as the shave is good, then roll with it.
On a side note, I bought my Super + Platinums from Dark.
In Canada awhile back I ordered from Alfred at Fendrihan a blade called Precisions. The wrapper that the original poster showed on the left side is the same wrapper on the Precisions. I have used both Crystals and Precisions (made in Israel) and I do not see any difference in them. Also the Precision blade looks identical to the Crystal baldes minus the wrappers.
