isothiazolinones

I can see frequently this preservative in several shaving products. I have some prejudice because I read they could be sensitizing using them continuosly. Which is your feeling?

From cosmeticdatabase.com, ISOTHIAZOLINONE seems to be quite safe, unlike METHYLISOTHIAZOLINONE or BENZISOTHIAZOLINONE. There several different preservatives being used on the industry, but some of them appear to be safe, like para-hydroxy benzoic acid which is a natural preservative used by many plants and insects against bacteria. The problem is when the industry changes the molecular structure of this substance to boost it's power, with an additional CH3 tail.

I'm not a chemist, so my words have limited value.
