Based on the case (Gillette script), since I know where you took that photo from, it could be anything from a 1906 to probably 1910.

Looks like it has been sitting in a sulfer bath. I can't tell weather I would want to clean that baby up or leave it black, it is kind of nice.

The serial number according to the seller is C10286. I am not buying this, I am more interested in learning how to identify them. Also SWMBO has drawn a line in the sand, but if anyone is interested, it's on ETSY.

Beautiful Razor, I vote shine. I have four of them made before 1912
and they are exquisite in there gleaming glory. and like these I doubt
we'll ever see another one like Mr. Carson.
