What's new

Is this real badger?

Got a new brush, listing said it was badger, but I'm not sure. The bristles look like plastic to me, but since I've never owned a badger before, I'm not sure.

That's a big 'ol NO.

Buy a reputable brand and from reputable vendor and you won't have any issues.

Buy from AliExpress DHgate or eBay and you get what you get. It may or may not be what you ordered or what was advertised.

It was from a local listing, but very cheap and so I'm not really upset if it isn't real badger. I just figured I'd try it out since I've only had synthetics before.

Thanks for your input!

What is a "local listing"?

If something is advertised as Blue and shows up Red, you should be upset. It's false advertising and deceptive.

Local listing as in something akin to eBay, but much smaller and meant for, well, selling locally/your immediate area.
Ahh. Makes sense, we have Kijiji up here.

Regardless, you may want to ask for your money back and/or report the seller. They are not selling what they are advertising.
