Is this an Aristocrat Junior?

Scored another razor today but not sure about it's model. My second vintage razor this weekend, couldn't resist getting it when I was at an antique store. Did some research and came up with this being an Aristocrat Junior. Can anyone please confirm and the year it was made? Thanks.

Yes it is, it's an earlier model because it has the flat baseplate, late 40's.

The razor is indeed an Aristocrat Junior. They're great shavers. The case looks like it is from a Slim Twist.

Yep, good score, they are very nice razors!
I actually shaved with mine this morning, the Aristocrat Junior had the heavy solid flat base on the inside too.

You guys are absolutely right about this razor. Just used it this morning and got a great shave without even thinking about my technique. If I shaved like I did with the HD or weber I would have gotten nicks and razor burns. First time using a vintage and I'm impressed.
