Is this a good strop?

I don't know my strops that well, but wanted to know what you think of this one that I just bought. (I do have a beginners strop, which I will use for a good amout of time till I get used to it).

American Made 3" Extra Wide Mountain Strop, "D" Ring black from:

It was on sale, so naturally I purchase first and ask questions later. I like the width, D rings, general look, and I gather that a fabric webbing on the back is of benefit.
Description from the site:

"Strop measures 3" x 17" and is actually two seperate strops joined together at the top with heavy duty Heavy Duty "D" Rings at the ends. One is made of Prime Quality Black Latigo Leather and the second of a fabric webbing. Stainless steel swivel clasp at top."

Although, I do not own own of these- they carry good stuff and this should be no exception. I have made 3" wide strops and they work fine.

Looks good to me. I've never tried their strops, but it looks like a nice strop.
