I'm bidding and winning this auction. I think I'm currently overpaying. What you guys think? I really want a fat boy with all the rave reviews . I currently have a Merkr 180 and a Murker travel razor. Link to auction : No links to live auctions thanks for the advice you guys rock!

It looks nice. As long as it's functional, I don't think you're overpaying... yet. You're getting close to the threshold though.

Also, for future reference, it's against the B&B Terms of Use to link to live auctions. You might want to edit your post and pull the link.

Just my opinion, but with 4 days left, and looking shiny, that will probably draw over $60. It does look to be in nice condition.

One note, posting active auctions is discouraged, unless it's a Buy It Now format.

You probably have better alternatives - look at the B/S/T, or post a WTB after you have a few more posts and you could get one for less.

I could set you up with a nice user-grade for cheap if you're interested. I have too many.

Even without a link, I spent months watching Fatboys on ebay and the BST while I accumulated some funding. 98% of the time you'll find a better and more straight up honest deal here on the BST, you just have to be a bit patient and check for them.

Granted, the BST thread requires some luck in timing. I've seen others put a WTB line in their signatures, so other members may spot that and PM you with "Hey,I have one of those, lets see if we can make a deal" sort of thing. As far as I am aware, that is allowed by the TOU, then just by being a good active member, others will have the chance to spot it and maybe help you out.

I just posted a link in "deals" to an eBay buy it now price not to long ago so if I see another I'll let you know As for "overpaying" what you want to look for in that price range is all paint is 100% adjustment dial clicks on all #'s 1-9 while the knurling and head of the razor is shiny without rust, flea bites etc. The case has to be without cracks and the hinges have to be together. Instructions is nice but not a requirement. Good luck!
