Is this a good price?

Hard to tell from the pic, but it looks to be in pretty good condition, with nice etching. You'll need to get it lightly restored and honed, of course.
25 pounds is what... about $37 US? That blackening on the edge is a bit worrisome to me, but if you don't have to hone through much, I'd say you did well. Nice looking razor... under that blackening.
for me no - too big of a risk for that money. but i have plenty of razors already and i'm happy to pay a lot (order of magnitude more than this and more) for a razor i want but there should be no gamble involved.
I would think that is a bit over what I would pay. I wouldn't gamble anymore than 10 USD. That is a pretty big gamble

Reason I asked is that it has been sold twice on the bay over the past two months. First time as you saw it went for £25. Then Yesterday it went for a whopping €2.25, which is about £2.!! I was considering getting involved but thought better in the end. Could it sell for £25 again? Who knows!
