Also no expert. The walnut appearance is very pleasing to the eye, but the price of the set leads me to believe that it is probably not the best quality. One can easily find strops, brushes, or razors alone for that price that are still on the low end. Horse hair is also not used very frequently any more, but I don't know if that has anything to do with quality.
On the other hand, it is possible that these products are quite nice, and are cheap mostly due to very little name recognition. I've found a lot of fantastic no-name products before. My advice would be to find a cheap shave-ready straight and strop on the B/S/T and get yourself a nice boar hair brush. It should add up to be less expensive and you won't get screwed on quality.
