Is there a shave "equivalency rating"

I have been using a Gillette Slim Adjustable for a while, recently bought an Edwin Jagger DE89L as a daily shaver and was just wondering...

Is there an aggressiveness rating i.e., The Slim set on 5 equals a fixed Jagger equals a Merkur Vision on 2 ..

Anyone compiled a list or have opinion?

Since I bought my Slim I haven't used my EJDE89. But, since I bought my Gillette New OC short I haven't used my slim. I have 2 razors I haven't tried yet. That's how much I like the New.

I'm excited to try my New Long Comb. But I've been getting great shaves from the Slim. Based on my limited experience, that blade gap table is a pretty good indication. I started with a Long Handle Merkur (25), then cut myself up with an R41 2013 (???), quickly jumped to the mild end with a Tech (22) found it to be too mild, but very smooth, turned my hair into dust, almost like an electric and I need too many passes to get smooth. Then I tried the Slim at 3 (26), this was better but still a bit mild so I'm now using it at 5 (32) which is even better. I'll probably keep bumping it up though.

Thanks for your thoughts...I find that my EJDE89 seems like the equivalent of a "5" on my Slim....when I have the Slim set to "3" the shaves are great and it seems almost impossible for me to get nicks, etc...but multiple passes are needed.
