Is Nylon the "canned goo" of bristle material?

There seems to be a dearth of Nylon bristles shown in restorations - so here are two of my restores using Golden Nib knots - an Opal 12 and an old Ever-Ready wood handle.

Both are extremely soft and no badgers or boars were harmed during fabrication!:biggrin1:
 
but for anyone who has used them, I would be interested in some feedback.

Nice looking restores by the way.

They seem to take more effort to get a thick lather compared to animal counterparts and are softer than the less costly badger grades I use. There are stiff nylon knots available, but haven't tried them.
