Is my brand new Futur broken?

I own one and the motion that yours is showing isn't proper. I'd suggest that you return it for exchange. I say exchange because I really like my Futur and if you get one that's put together correctly, I bet you will as well.

I've inquired about doing an exchange. Amazon's automated system would only let me do a return. Waiting to hear back.

I wonder what percentage of futurs do this.

I'm interested in knowing this as well. Totally unacceptable for such an expensive product. I wonder what the chance is that my replacement will have the same problem?
 
I own a Futur and that is not normal. Consider using some of our terrific vendors in the "future":thumbup1:.
 
Push the "top part" down firmly into the main body and try to tighten the adjusting ring.( do the reverse to take the razor apart) If that does not work, take the razor apart , turn the "top part" 180 degrees and reassemble. You must press the "top part" down firmly or the calibration will be off. I tried mine and there is a bit of wiggle that I assume is normal
 
Those were the first things I tried when I noticed the problem. Did absolutely nothing to fix it.
 
I checked one of the two Futurs I have and do NOT find that piece to be moving or wiggly. Wouldn't think that is normal. Good Luck!
