For a man to go to a place like, ohhh let us say West Coast Shaving in this example, and only buy what he needs; let us say razor blades in this example, without purchasing any additional shaving creams, soaps, lotions, brushes, etc. knowing full well he is fully stocked up on such items? Is it even fair to ask a man to do such a thing?

Say you buy just ONE pack of blades....
Those post office will have to use about the same amount of gas to bring it to you, as they would a box of blades and a nice new brush and some soaps and maybe a new razor.
So, if you don't order lots, it's you're destroying the planet.

No. I recently needed blades for $23. Rather than pay a shipping charge on those blades, I added a Simpson brush and some ToBS cream to qualify for free shipping. I saved myself $2-3 in shipping costs. Smart shopper here.

Why would you even want to do that? Where's the fun in just getting one thing? You can always find a cheap soap or cream that you want to try when ordering blades. Or if you are buying creams or soaps you might as well add a few blades while you are there.

Haha, maybe my wife would accept this argument (probably not, but I can try)
Said man surely has a stronger will than this man does 
So far I have only ordered what I needed to continue shaving from them. Though I am hoping finances improve soon and I can stock up on "wants"
