Is it possible to restore

I picked up a dublduck pearlduck goldedge at an antique swap meet. The scales are in great shape and it doesn't look like there is any rust on it except near the heel by the edge and it looks like there is a little hone wear, I'm guessing. The only question I had is in regards to a small chip in the edge. It's not very big and I was wondering if it was just a matter of a really good honing. Please let me know what you guys think. I picked it up for really cheap so if you don't think it's fixable I won't be too bummed.

The ding near the heel doesn't look like a big deal to me. I think with some sanding and polishing and a good honing, you will have a like new razor you will be very pleased with.

definately salvageable. it will need some work, plus a new edge (and maybe a little grinding to the heel) but tis well worth it

I have bought so many razors with the heel ground in (there's a tendency to overgrind the heel due to shoulder placement on many razors) that I wouldn't worry in the slightest about that lil chip. Once you hone a little bit of a smile into the razor it'll be gone. I'd start on my 220grit if I were restoring it, but I wouldn't feel the need to grind it. 15-20 minutes with a little pressure on a 220 (or even 320) grit should have that chip done away with just fine.
