So I hear people saying about how they oil their blades after use and I was wondering is the oil you use on barbers clippers okay for this purpose?
If so how is it done? Do I just put a bit on some cotton wool and gently rub it along the blade?
Do I then rub it off again before I use the straight?
Also are there any other things I should be doing to clena and maintina my straights?
Sorry about all of the questions and thanks for your help.
I'm pretty new to straights (though a dab hand at DEs) and want to get everything right as I'm enjoying using them so much!
Feel free to simply link me to stickies and wikis that I have been too lazy to find
. It's been a VERY busy week for me and time is tight so I apologize.
