Is a 40s super speed more aggressive than a 50s flair tip?

Apart from my 60s travel tech, the main razor I use is a 40s ss. I don't think it is too agressive. Definitely more foregiving than the travel tech.

I like my 40s Super Speed better than my flare tip. In my opinion it isn't more aggressive than the flare tip.

Here is a link to the ShaveWiki with some info RE: Agressive Razors: http://wiki.badgerandblade.com/Double-Edged_Safety_Razors_Ranked_by_Aggressiveness

For me, an agressive razor doesn't equate to a better razor but I will admit to loving every 40's SS I own. They are great razors, indeed.

lots of people say the 40s feels better in the hand than a flair tip, is that the only reason?
and i like aggressive razors..they get the job done quicker lol. thats why i've a red tip on the way.

In the past couple of weeks, my 40's SS has been giving me the most BBS shaves of my life without irritation.

Yeah i cant say my late 40s SS shaves more aggressively then my flare tip. I think the weight and handling is better on the 40s. To me a lot more balanced. Use my everyday, of my 8 de razor it is my go to. YMMV.

I just used a 40's SS a couple days ago and found it a lot more forgiving than my Flair Tip. Seemed almost similar to a Gillette travel tech head.

I think my late 40's SS is more aggressive than my 50's Flare Tip. As others have said the 40's SS handles better and I get better feedback with it, but to me it is a more aggressive shave. BTW my late 40's SS is my favorite TTO.
