Anybody else save all their invoices neatly folded or stored somewhere as part of this acquisition disorder? I have all mine in a neat little box with my about two plus years worth of blades. I need more blades I think btw! Just wondering! That's part of the fun and enjoyment for me!

Yes, but I try not to look at them. 
No, but I did built a database, for wet shaving, to track items and cost. Trying to the live the paperless life as much as possible.
Which software did you use for this? Could you share the template with us?
I've been thinking a shave-base would be a good idea. Not so much for tracking expenses, but to keep tabs on who I bought a particular vintage razor from, or which vendor is my source for a specific soap/cream/ASB, etc. It would also help to quantify how long certain products last, so we know how much and when to re-order.
And to answer the OP's question ... yes, I did save receipts for a while. I kept them in a B&BW bag that hung on the radiator in the bathroom. It also held coupons for future purchases, although I usually forgot to include them when I placed the next order. Still, its nice to keep them all in one place for reference.

Good chuckle John! Danok, I haven't gotten to a db yet but I log my daily shaving event in excel. Not so much cost but more on how the choice of soap or creme and blade and razor performed. I use msaccess for other stuff and all I'd have to do is bring in the tables from the excel and I'd be on my way there. I'm sure I could get by without all the fuss but it's part of the fun!
I am about as far away from being a IT guy as you can be in this life. I never learned to type because I kept locking all the keys up in front of the palten at the type guide. I used a access 2000 program, which came in my MS Office bundle, and kept it simple. Column headings like Date Purchase, Source, Condition and so on.
