Interesting Wade & Butcher

I have seen WB American Eagle razors with the eagle positioned the opposite way but never one like this. Anyone know anything about this one, is it one of the earlier or later American eagle models?

The only thing I can tell you is that it's a beautiful piece. I know the other styles you are talking about but this one is very interesting. Of course I , as well as everyone else has a soft spot for W&Bs.

I think I may have read some where that the later ones had to say "Shefield England" or had more specifics on the location. I may very well be confused though and can not back that up with anything. Sweet looking razor though.

very cool.. i know nothing about these or many others engraved/etched/stamped on the face, but i can appreciate them.. nice score.

As soon as I get the funds we might be having a conversation about this blade. W&Bs are my soft spot too.

Yep. All blades made after 1890 (give or take a year or so) have country of origin

Well with my minimal research all the American razors have Sheffield on them, so I guess it will be hard to tell if it was an earlier or later model.

Also I noticed that the eagle is sitting on a very faint globe where north and South America are the only visible continents.
