I didn't shave for several days, maybe four, and knew that I needed a new (Wilkinson) blade in my open comb so I put one (?) in. Yikes, it pulled and tugged something fierce, just horrible. Well I'd read here about folks sometimes getting "a bad blade" and figured that is surely what I've got. So I pulled out another new blade from the same pack and noticed it just seemed too stiff, thick, lacking the usual flex of a DE blade. Turns out there were TWO blades stuck together; really took some pulling (being cautious not to slice up my fingers) to separate them. Hmmm, I wondered if I had 2 blades in the razor that just pulled across my face? YUP. They too took a bit of effort to separate but once I did I put one back in my Merkur and took care of business without a problem. Anyone else have this happen?

I've had it start to happen with some vintage Gillette Super Stainless blades, but they did separate before I got one in the razor. I can definitely see it happening if I weren't paying attention, though.
Two blades are not better than one. MYTH BUSTED!
I had it happen to me with some NOS Bleu's from the plastic dispensers.
Nope, never had that happen to me, but I have not used that type of dispenser yet. I am glad it turned out okay for you though. That could have been disastrous.
