Interesting Aqua Velva find

While browsing the antique store after work today, I saw a pretty old looking box of Williams, with a tag of $1.50, I thought it would look good in my razor display, so I picked it up. When I got home I had a look in the box and saw this wrapped around the grungy old puck of Williams that has been living in that box for who knows how long.

A quick Google search of "Aqua Velva" and "humectin" brought up this page from LIFE magazine from January of 1957. With all the AV talk going around, I thought this was a timely find.
