Based on other people's postings I decided to try and make my own after shave.
I'm going for a Bay Rum.
ingredient list.
Bay Leaves (cooking variety)
Bacardi Select
Triple Sec
Splenda
Yeah I know Splenda is kinda weird, but I just recently found out that an Old Spice formulation used Saccharin, which is also a sugar substitute sweetener.
Tomorrow I'll get to the store and add some clove to the mix, I found out that I was out after I started mixing things together.
I'm using a 6 oz mason jar, I emptied a jar of Bay Leaves into then covered with the Bacardi, and topped off with the Triple Sec, 4 packets of Splenda and some crushed whole cloves later I should be good and ready to mix with generic Witch Hazel in a couple of weeks.
Honestly the Liquor was free so the most I'll be out is maybe half a bottle of Witch Hazel and having to buy whole cloves that I may never use again.
