Injector Blades

I have heard of Ted Pella and I believe there is at least one more. I have not gotten to try any of these however.

Ted Pella is a reseller, not a brand of blades. As far as most of us can tell, there seem to be two manufacturers of the blades: ASR (Personna) and Schick. The ASR blades all seem to come in injector cartridges that involve a white plastic snap-on piece. The Schick cartridges, I believe, are all metal.

medical supply sites (EMS, Pella) carry them, schick branded blades are still manufactured in china, every once in a while i stumble across NOS blades as well (on the 'bay). My grandpa's L-type was stored with 2 carts of NOS super platinums (early 80's), and they're just lovely

I have some from Ted Pella and I also have some Schick blades that a small grocery store near me sells.
As far as the blades, The TP blades start a little rough but last a few more shaves than the Schick blades, which start smooth but dull quicker. I'd say both blades provide about 6-7 quality shaves.

there is a deal on amazon right now: Chinese Schicks, 4 packs of 7 for $22 and it's eligible for super saver shipping. free shipping is always nice

Well, colour me foolish.

I couldn't find them at CVS or Walgreens. I ordered some from razors direct.com. They have Personna and Schick and no shipping charges.

I tell you what, it isn't much different here, except we don't get the snow they do. However, the snow they get is safer than the sleet, ice and slushy crap we get.

Prettier too, at first. We've actually gotten very little this year. Much less than No. Virginia
