Idole de Lubin. I think it's the EDT, not specified. I don't like it because it's too much saffron.

Kilian Straight to Heaven. Already know this scent and like it. Wanted a decant to use. I think this would be a BnB favorite if you sampled it. Rum and awesomeness.

Guerlain Jicky. Not sure if I like it or not. On the fence on initial impression. I'm told it needs time.

Guerlain Mitsouko. I like it but smells a bit "rich old lady".

Guerlain Derby (reissue). Surprisingly enjoying this one!

Cuir de Lancome. Not impressed when first sprays but now liking it more. Creamy.

I liked STH the first time I tried it but then it became rather cloying and I couldn't tolerate it. I can see the appeal however.

I'm surprised by your reaction to Derby. I like it, but it definitely smells of "old man" and I would have never guessed you would like it at all. Shows there's still hope for you!

I was not as enamoured with Cuir de Lancôme as I thought I would be. It gets amazing reviews but was very much just average to me. There are much better floral leathers out there.

I am wearing Jicky on skin now...it reminds me of Musc Ravageur. As it settles I am liking this!!!!

Full wearing of Jicky today. Love it. A little bit of Taste of Heaven (I've not tried Caron PuH), Musc Ravageur, and the guerlainade. Not a sillage beast, not as animalic as I feared...this could be work to work or play.

That's an awesome list to start with. STH is the only on it that I don't like but everything else is superb. Derby is one of my favorites! Which Derby did you get, the current EdP? It's good stuff, true to form.

That Jicky is amazing, too - a dirty little lavender - not your average barbershop scent.

I got these from the website Surrender to Chance. I'm told it's to of the ladies who used to be part of the Perfumed Court. They sell a ton of decants. It's relatively expensive, but they have a vast array of niche fragrances. I have made two purchses through them, and have had excellent service both times.

Thanks. I have purchased from them too. They are a bit expensive. But they have lots of stuff no one else seems to have.

I try BnB vendors then CF an if they don't have it I will spend more for StC. Plus if I want 4 different decants and StC has all of them I'll just pay more for one transaction than make 3-4 separate ones.

I've kind of given up on Perfumed Court because my prior experience was variable delivery times (at worst 2-3 weeks) - but this was pre breakup.

Wore Derby to work today. It is a perfect wear for suit and tie environment. Masculine, powerful, but also not over-the-top manly man. This is a scent I wouldn't wear for a night out or on a casual weekend - better in the office IMO.

I have a decant. Will try try to exercise some patience and wait til decant empty before considering bottle. Also want to try arsene lupin.
