What's new

India Again!

About a month ago my friend returned after visiting his homeland of India with some wet-shaving gifts for me.

Well I saw him today and he told me he will be leaving Monday on another trip and asked me if he could pick me up some shaving items. As in free!

The last time he got me Wilkinson blades, Old Spice and some shaving rounds. Which by the way I like allot.

So he tells me to make a list and give it to him on Sunday.

The only thing that comes to mind is a high grade Alum Block.

With the exception of creams, (I'm a soap guy) I'm at a lose.

Any suggestions?

She has been described as the most beautiful woman in the world.

Years ago they did a report about her on 60 minutes.

She got it all, beauty, brains and a "down to earth" personality.

lol. She can't dance to save her life. There are hundreds of better looking girls out there. Oh, and she can't act too.

Just my opinion.

Ask him to get one of those famous Indian straight razor shaves and facials you see on You Tube.

Then when he comes home he can give you one! Don't forget videos and pics.

Beyboo,

Just read it.

Looks like I ask him to get either the Godrej Shave Rounds (3 boxes of 50 gms for less than $1) or the Gillette "Wilkinson" blades ($4 for 100).

I'm kind of leaning toward the Godrej Shave Rounds. They are something that I can't find here in the U.S.

As for blades, I've got so many that I'm selling my Wilkinsons (made in Germany). Still the Wilkinsons made in India are nice plus the cost is an outstanding bargain.

Thanks for your help!

I would highly recommend the 7OC Black and Greens. They are simply outstanding if you don't have it yet. The Supermax 4$ for a 100 is also a good bargain. Ultimately if you have some too many - what is the BST thread space for ;)

And you are right on the shave rounds - 3 for a dollar is a real steal !!

You say that the shave rounds are a "steal".

I love finding bargains but I love finding "steals" even more!

Looks like I will ask my friend to focus on the soap.

By the way, can you microwave those shave rounds?

It looks like you could run a popular internet shaving supplies shop for B&Bers.

I have a friend who is heading over from Mumbai sometime soon. I should ask her to collect some stuff for me.

Where is that shop you recommend?

Unfortunately in India it is not easy to describe a location by address. You can PM me details of where your friend is - we can communicate further on how she can work on the logistics.
