About 21/2 weeks ago, I ordered a Kent BK8 and a bottle of Trumper's Skin Food from Executive Shaving in Scottland. The folks at Executive Shaving have been very helpful and I have tracked the shipment to the US but that is the end of the line (they use Royal Mail). Has anyone had any trouble importing a brush from the UK lately. I'm just wondering if it is something to do with customs. Thanks for your thoughts.

I had a wakazashi (small sword) sent from Canada. It sat in customs for about 5 weeks.
I ordered a BK8 and a Simpson's Emperor both in Super from (I believe) the same retailer in Britain just befor Xmas and it got through no problems. Hope you get it worked out.
While we're busy stopping badger brushes at the border, some evil genius in NW Pakistan has probably figured out how to bypass the meager controls we have in our port cities and is getting ready to shove a hundred tons of fertilizer up our collective *******.

Come on, let's not minimalize the danger of just letting that brush through -
Do you have any idea how many faces could be irritated by over exfoliating with that brush?
I mean, in the wrong hands, that thing could be dropped off of a tall building and do some serious damage to pedestrians below.
It could also be held up by U.S. Wildlife pending clearance.

Thanks for your thoughts...I guess I'll just sit back and wait. I agree with the sentiment expressed above. Maybe some gung ho customers officer was afraid the badger was still alive...

My package arrived last night from Executive Shaving!! I am now the proud owner of a Kent BK8. I would like to thank the folks at Executive Shaving (Ally and Brian) for answering my every email and putting up with my nagging. I guess in these times, things don't move as fast from the UK as they used to. Anyway, success and I'll try to post some pictures if I can find my camera.
I send stuff to USA on a regular basis from Spain and Scotland; the problem is at USA where 5-week delays are not uncommon, this doesnt happen with Canada or Europe but it does with USA.
I've used Executive Shaving too and found them very good to deal with - their customer service in recent months has been exceptional, I had to return a faulty safety razor (Merkur 39) and they dealt with me problem very well, no fuss, it was a lady it dealt with Shuna (?) she was great and she enclosed a Proraso soap free of charge - they know what they're doing as i love the soap and can only buy from them locally!!!!
