Imitation Green Irish Tweed

I'm sure some loyal GIT fans will scoff at this post, but I'm not ashamed to say I will not pay $250 for a bottle of cologne. I love the smell and will get it cheap, if possible. Shameless - haha.

I tried Mama Bear's and was somewhat pleased with the scent. However, the cologne doesn't seem to last but an hour or so. Has anyone had good luck with other imitation Green Irish Tweeds (or any other imitation colognes for that matter).

There is one called 'Cool Water'. It's made my Davidoff. Check it out. You actually may be able to find it commonly -- I've seen it available at Macy's! I got mine online for 25$.

Chez Bond from Bond No. 9 is a pretty close ringer for GIT. I think you can find it on ebay for around 100 bucks or so

Coolwater is the closest thing I can think of. It's considerably cheaper than GIT.

If you want to go really cheap, go to the Dollar Store. They have a Coolwater knock-off fragrance, and Coolwater is essentially a knock-off of GIT. Since it's only a buck, if you don't like it you can just throw it into the trash can and not feel guilty about it.

I saw the knock-off at an outlet store the other day. So it was a remaindered knock-off of a knock-off.
