when using a hair tonic such as Jervis, which I always thought of as a scalp conditioner, should it be used in conjunction with a rinse out hair conditioner in the shower? Or, should you use one or the other not both?

I use a 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner followed by Jeris without oil tonic. It leaves my hair looking slightly shiny and conditioned without leaving the scalp greasy. That is what really separates Jeris from Brylcreem.
