What's new

I'm going to repaint the text on some of my brushes .

... and I'm thinking that the nail polish could be a choice followed by surface finish with an acetone free nail polish remover.
Do you have any experience with that matter ?

You may be able to use a paint pen to color over the area, and wipe the excess off. I use that to make monogrammed brass discs that I recess into the bottom of my brush handles.

Be careful with the handle and what it is made of ie vintage plastics. Nail polish has the acetone in it and it may gum up the works. I would vote for the model paint and a sealer.

Let us know how it goes :001_smile

You are right! The acetone in the nail polish will f... up the handle. I will do with Humbrol.
Thanks!

I find humbrol modelling paint and it works great.
I checked and ordered #41 Enamel Gloss.
Thanks!
