It doesn't look like he got that close haha.
He needs to work on his pre-shave prep. 
Very clever actually.
I thought this was a very neat, very well-thought-out project.
Just considering the time and the planning that it would take to conceptualize this beforehand and then put it into practice makes it impressive.
To paraphrase Robert M. Pirsig:
It's like the internal combustion engine; that it works at all is amazing, but that it works as well as it does borders on miraculous.
Same thing with the video.
I probably could have done without the extra couple seconds of silly faces at the end, but overall a very impressive effort.

cool video. i thought it was going to be a link to the scene in hancock where he shaves with his finger nails when i first saw the title. i agree that it would have been better without the faces at the end.
I liked it. Gillette would certainly hate this concept
Clever, but a little disturbing in the end.
