ID Please

Hey everyone. I've been wetshaving for 1 1/2 years with a DE. I received a straight razor as a gift recently (its from an antique shop). I was wondering if someone could help me ID the straight. Also if I wanted to get started shaving with it, how would I go about that? Thanks.

It is a Boker King Cutter. One of the vintage ones, not the new ones. Fantastic shavers. To get her shave ready, she'll need to be hone up (I would suggest sending her out to a reputable honer), and you will need a strop to keep her nice and smooth.. Beyond that, it looks like you will be set on prep and lather, based on your sig, so it's just a matter of learning shaving technique.

Yes, very nice razor. I'm not certain, but it looks like the edge is in pretty rough shape (a little serrated looking from pic 3), so a pro-honing will likely be in order. You're gonna like the shave when you get it back. I don't know anyone who has a bad word to say about vintage Bokers.
