ID Help - (Probably) An unusual Old Type Set

I recently acquired a ball end old type set that's unlike others I've seen and would need some help ID'ing it. The case is a "dirty" yellow / beige color with Gillette logo on the top of the case and inside in the velvet liner which is also beige colored. The logo on the top and inside are both just the word "Gillette" without the diamond around it. There is no "Made in USA" wording anywhere in the case.

The ball end handle is thinner than the usual ball end handles, similar to some of the canadian thin ball end handles. The Gillette logo on the underside of the head has the diamond around it and is stamped "Made in USA". Pictures below:

My usual reference site, mr-razor does not have this model so would appreciate if the members here can help ID this set.

Note: Please ignore the blade pack as it is an incorrect pack that came with the set that I've left it as is.

Posted my question too early before checking other sections of mr-razor's site: It's a French tech set with an incorrect head. I suspect that the original tech head is going to be difficult to find so I'll have to live with this set as is.
