I want a new brush so I thought I would ask the experts. What is good brush that I can get for around $100 or below. I use creams 95% of the time. I only have a entry level Tweezerman badger now. There are so many options that it is somewhat overwhelming. Please advise a newbie.

Before you shell out $100 for a brush, why not try a silvertip badger from Whipped Dog for under $30? Larry will hook you up!
The Vulfix 2235 in Super is an incredibly good brush and it can be had for about $65.
If you want a name brand, I'd grab a Shavemac Silvertip (never tried the finest, but here it's great and you'd be able to get a bigger knot) or a Simpson Duke 3 from WCS using the "bandb" discount code.
If you want a custom, get a brush maker to make a handle of your choice and slap a 24mm TGN XH Finest in it and your're set. If you are strictly a bowl latherer, I'd get a "7" style handle like the Simpson M7 or M&F L7 handles. Handle should be around $30-35, knot $30, shipping etc $10, and you are well under your $100. Heck, I've seen a silvertip "7" style handle by one of them just go for $35 shipped and I missed it by minutes.
