I thought I knew everything....

Hi All,

Please help me choose a new brush. I have been on this forum since 2011, and thought I knew everything I needed to know, but products have moved on a lot and I don't want to make a mistake. I exclusively face lather, and currently use an Omega black Hi-Brush. I would like another synthetic, something with a bigger handle, and more scrub. Thank you in advance.

Sadly, I have discovered that nobody knows everything. I was depressed about it for some time.

Scrub can be difficult to find in a synthetic. The EVO might fit the bill, or ask the magic man - Rudy Vey - to make you a brush that fits your needs.

I find the Shavemac fibres give a good scrub with ample backbone.

To me the Simpsons platinum synthetic bristles are scratchy/scrubby if that’s what you are after. Much more so than their sovereign line of synthetics. Ymmv
