What's new

I might have something rare (maybe not, but still is nice)

Hello everyone.
About 3 weeks ago, I was surfing the net beyond Ebay, and I found a nice Aristocrat #16 Gold, so I bought it. The seller emailed me saying he had other razors, but not Gillettes.
So he send the pics, and the first one was an Aristocrat #21 (which I bought too) some old types, a New, some superspeeds, and finally What caught my attention.

I have never seen that package before (I mean from this country) so I don't know how rare this are.

Anyway, A pic is better than 1000 words.
So here it is.

The razor is made in the U.S. I thought that was a bit strange, it doesn't seem a mismatch, I mean this pictures were taken before any cleaning. The razor looks barely (if ever) used.

I also noticed the blade holder is different than the one in the Deluxe (Fatboy Model)
The patents on the package are: 67013-71680-89519

The blades are unopened and I want to leave them like that. There's another number, but is blocked by the red line on the wrapping.

Very nice! I´ve never seen a Aristocrat Adjustable in a Executive Adjustable case. It gives many fine (and for me unknown) set´s from the south American market.

Beautiful, especially with the packaging. You've helped me solve a mystery, as well -- I have one of these gold slim-type razors that I purchased last year from a street antique merchant in Buenos Aires. I'd assumed it was simply brought/sent to the country by an American -- looks like they were distributed there as "Gold Adjustables" instead.

Others will be better able to speak to rarity than I, but I've never seen an Argentinean case for one of these -- seeing cases for them at all is decently rare as it is. Nice score!

Thanks Achim, When I was about to buy it, I checked on your website, and I didn't find it. I just checked again today and nothing, That's way I thought it may be rare. Thanks for the comments.

I know what you mean about the packaging, I have 2 others I bought in Mendoza Both code L2 (as this one) but I've never seen the packaging for them before.
