Looks like a NEW Regent, so 1930 http://www.mr-razor.com/Rasierer/The%20NEW/1930%20Regent%20England.JPG
Great shaver. Put it into rotation.
As always dully noted and appreciated the info.Yes, this is a Regent set, but it's worth pointing out that the dates that Achim has on his site should not be taken to mean that those are the only dates a particular set was made. In most cases he's trying to date the manufacture of the exact set that he has as closely as possible.
Looking at the bottom of the guard plate on craig's razor it looks like it doesn't have the patent numbers there, so it is probably still a fairly early model.
Mr pedro, you are making a killing lately. Thanks MacDaddy.
I won a 1929 NEW and shined it right up. I tried it and found it too aggressive, but that could have been from the blade. I'll try it again. Let us know what you think of it.
Just an update to this. What an awesome shave. How is it with all this technology that an 82 year old razor gives me the best shave of my life. I am so glad I discovered the right way to shave.
P.S. This place rocks!
