Hvat cind of brush is this?

This is a brush that my great-grandfather used,
he died so i inherited this..
i really like the feel of this brush, and it gives me good lather fast.
i have no idea what cind of brush this is, or what make..
the name is something like eribe ?
do any of you know?
its an OLD brush..

The only Eribe I can find is a current manufacturer of knit wear goods.
Could be that they did more than that in the past, as was the case with Abercrombie and Fitch.

Looks like a brush that was made in Germany (vulkanisiert means vulcanized in German). Could be "Fribe" as well.

I went through every possible combination from A to Z in front of Eribe, just in case a letter was missing, and nothing turned up in the searches. Fribe doesn't either, unfortunately.

well, then im going too buy a new one that looks about the same..
dont want to ruin this one:)
 
Can't tell you anything about it but it looks very similar to this one I picked up ( the bristles were already cut ) . The red bit on this one appears to be a tinted plastic layer. Where the sticker was is rectangular not diamond shaped.

I know this doesn't help any but....... :001_smile
