lol I'm actually thinking of jamming out of the office early today. I've heard of another cigar that uses that kentucky fire cured tobacco in the filler, so it gives off that smokey aroma called Leccia Black. Apparently there is a B&M that stocks it about 30 miles from me. So I figured I'll make the trip down there to check it out since they have another cigar that I've been wanting to try down there also.

Just crawled out of bed 3 hours ago. The new job has me on 3rd shift (FUN!) Might have one of the ACID C notes that came in my sampler since my commute is only 20 minutes.

I decided to get an early start before the kids came home from school. I'm smoking a Romeo y Julieta Churchill and drinking a Yuengling lager. The cigar was a tubo and had just a little bit of plume starting.

Sitting on the deck in the shade enjoying the weather and relaxing. I was trying to get a nice long ash going for the ash picture thread, but alas my noobness got the best of me and about one and a half inches of ash fell on my lap.

On a semi-related note, my honeymoon is in Boston in around a month and I get to stop by L.J. Peretti's for a new pipe and some of their blends. Anybody been there? I'm wanting to get one of the Peretti-made pipes. Anybody have advice on what to go for?

Digging the Casa Magna now. I taste coffee, dark chocolate, some raisins and an earthy,woodsy flavor/scent I can't pin down.

Yeah, that's what I was going to do. Google actually lets you tour the inside of the shop and I did some preview drooling at the pipe case. I'm sure most of the pipes will be different by the time I'm there though, haha.

Also try to stop by Leavitt & Pearce in Harvard Square for tobacco. They also have shave good. And while you're there, you might as well head down the street to Colonial Drug for more shave goodness. Then head over to Church Street and make everything right with the Mrs. by getting drinking chocolate at Burdick's. Then head to the COOP for a good book.

I used to live in Boston, so holler if you have any questions about what to do there. It's a good time of year to visit.
