How'd you guys make out today?

Firstly, Happy Memorial Day to all and a thank you to all the B&B'ers currently in the armed forces.

How'd everyone make out at the grill today? I took it easy with pretty standard fare, mostly burgers and dogs. But I did make some pretty amazing ribs, and some shrimp burgers that were also delicious. I chalk the ribs up to beginners luck, they were far better than I expected. Next time I think I'll add a little more kick to my BBQ rub.

My father-in-law grilled dinner for Memorial Day.

I overloaded on meat all weekend, especially Monday. Felt great...well until Monday evening.

Monday, I had:

*Teriyaki-marinated (for 3/4 days) chicken breast
*Kielbasa
*Hot Italian Sausage
*Sweet Italian Sausage
*Turkey Sausage (on hot dog roll...had 2 of these)
*Baked Beans (2 helpings)
*MIL's homemade macaroni salad with tuna

Dessert:
*Cherry Pie with Neopolitan Ice cream and marshmallows




On Sunday, at my son's friend's house (he's 2 years old) I had:

*Italian-marinated chicken breast
*Cheeseburger
*2 hot dogs
*BBQ beans (2 helpings)
*Macaroni salad
*BBQ Chips
*Throwback Mountain Dew! (wanted to try this, had 2 cans)

Dessert (way overboard):
*Apple Pie with whipped cream
*Cheesecake with choc chip cookie dough baked on as top and bottom crusts
*Fudge with nuts
*Strawberries
*Popsicle


Now I'm hungry.
