How to get rid of bangs in thick hair without using product?

Is there any way to get rid of bangs for a male lengthier men's hairstyle without using product? I have extremely thick Italian hair and currently my bangs come down to about my eyebrows and while I comb them out of the way out of the shower I still find about half of my forehead is covered in a thick/opaque layer of bangs

Blow dryer

I'm tempted to say Murray's Superior pomade, but you don't want to use product, so that ones out. That stuff is perfect for thick hair.

My hair always curled up at the ear & back unless I used a blow dryer after washing it. After 2 rotator cuff surgeries, 10 years ago, I went to a 1 or 1.5 buzz cut. No hair problems since.

Professional opinion: I'd have to see and preferably touch your hair, but if the majority of you hair stays in place, you need to use product. Use as little as needed. Most folks use too much, and then blame the product. I have a sensitive scalp, and find that Paul Mitchell irritates me the least. Hope this helps, @bladedbadger !
